Putting this out there.
I'm a very good guitar player who sings, and plays a little harmonica. I'm looking for a very good harmonica player who sings, and ideally plays a little guitar, to collaborate with in putting together a blues band for gigging. Chicago-style lineup: guitar, harp, bass, drums.
My performance outlets in recent years have leaned more toward rock or blues/rock. Undercover Blues Band was a power trio with 2 of my favorite human beings in the world. More recently I have been a frequent guest sitting in on harp and guitar with Urban Achievers and Black Dogs, a couple of local Seattle Led Zeppelin cover bands.
I really love playing that material (I mean, “When The Levee Breaks”?, c’mon), but what I am yearning for right now is to play material that is more blues and less rock, not quite so loud, simplified gear. You get the idea.
