I am offering lessons via Zoom. Several years ago a student who lives in Colorado talked me into giving it a shot, and it has proved to be a very useful option. I now have a number of full time students who work with me in this way. Video lessons are of particular value to students with an interest in exploring the Guitar Craft Standard Tuning (aka “C Major Pentatonic Tuning” and sometimes "NST") since experienced instructors are few and far between.
Working over video has its pros and cons, advantages and limitations. But if you are out of the area, or your schedule makes carving out the time for a commute north of the canal too difficult, it is a very workable alternative.
